Dear Skyline Members,
Skyline’s Annual Meeting was held in November 2011. We bid a fond farewell to the outgoing board members and voted in the slate of new board members. Many thanks to those board members who served during the last three years: Steve Kauffmann, Rebekah Spetnagel, Annie Lassiter, and Katie Poppert. Please welcome the following incoming board members: Christy Jones, Brett Levin, Matt Moon, Todd Poppert, Erin Saboe Willoughby, and Paul Wuthrich. I look forward to working with all of our hard working board members and club employees during the upcoming year.
At the November Board meeting, Skyline’s budget was approved for 2012. The annual dues were increased to $770 this year. We will work hard to keep expenses in line while still providing a wonderful experience this coming season. With this in mind, the tennis bathrooms are now closed from November 15th until April. We have had too many costly repairs associated with trying to keep these non-winterized buildings open while our club is closed.
Annual dues need to be paid by Thursday, March 1st. A $115 late fee will be applied to all dues postmarked after March 1, 2012, and memberships will be terminated if no payment is received by April 1, 2012.
Skyline has these deadlines so our bank account can be replenished to pay ongoing bills. This also allows us to begin contacting families on the wait list so they may become new members before Opening Day, Saturday, May 26th.

Please mark your calendars for Spring Clean Up Day on May 20th. We need members to help with a variety of jobs around the club so that we are ready for opening day. Your help saves on expenses for the club and gives you a chance to earn guest passes.
Information about Skyline events and details regarding the various teams will be posted on the website (skylineacres.org) in the future. In the meantime, our Board will be preparing for another wonderful summer at Skyline along with our club manager, Chris Loftis.
