Swim Team News – Week of June 17th
Fantastic job swimmers and coaches at the Eastmoor meet! It was great to see many of the swimmers already dropping their times so early in the season.
Important Reminder: Please be aware! All families with swimmers are required to either volunteer for 3 volunteer shifts (see http://skylineacres.org on the swim team page to sign up) or pay the $150 opt out fee. There are several families that haven’t done either. If your family doesn’t sign up for shifts, the fee will be applied to you. There are still opportunities available and we would love to have the help.
Thank you! We have some slots for the Stapleton meet on Tuesday!
Team gift distribution
- Swim team gifts (blue Skyline shorts) were handed out during the pancake breakfast to all registered swimmers, divers, and the synchro team members.
- If your swimmer(s) did not receive shorts, please see Jeffra Frank, Stephanie Rodeno or Carolyn Wiese (of course, make sure the online registration and payment has been completed).

General Reminders:
- Please use the email:
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
to let coaches know when your swimmer will miss a swim meet or several consecutive days of practice. It really helps when they have all of the attendance information going to one source.
- A new swimming lesson session begins this week. It is a great idea to also register for swim lessons, levels 1-10 or Competitive Strokes.
- When we are at all swim meets, home or away, it is important that we leave “nothing but footprints.” Please make sure your swimmer throws all of their trash in the trashcan and the area around their “campsite” is left just as they found it. Swim meets are very long for all involved and it really helps the pool staff if we clean up after ourselves. Thanks!
