Youth Tennis Programs

Skyline is proud of it’s expanding and competitive kid program; there are a wide range of players across many age groups.  What we hear most from members is about how much fun the program is and how the staff truly enjoys coaching tennis and working with young players.  Come on out and try it for a day to see for yourself!

Junior Team Tennis (JTT) at Skyline

Junior Team Tennis at Skyline -- REGISTRATION REMINDER

 

What:  A nationwide program for players aged 8-17! 

           Multiple levels of play, from intermediate to tournament-level players.

      

When:  Registration opens in CASA on March 12th at 7 AM.

             Registration deadline:  April 8th

 

Who:  Players aged 8-17
 

At Skyline, we welcome all players who want to compete, improve, and have fun! Players should have a basic understanding of serving, scoring, and gameplay.


THE DETAILS

 

Season Dates and Times:  Regular Season Starts the Week of Tuesday, June 3rd.

*The week of June 2nd will be pro-rated as no matches will take place that Monday.

 

Matches:  Mondays across the Denver metro area (June 9 - July 25; approx. 1.5 hours).
 

Practices: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

 

10 & Under (Co-ed)                           → Practice: 12:00-1:30 PM | Matches: Mondays, 8:00-9:30 AM

12 & Under (Boys & Girls Divisions) → Practice: 12:00-1:30 PM | Matches: Mondays, 9:30-11:00 AM

14 & Under (Boys & Girls Divisions) → Practice: 1:30-3:00 PM   | Matches: Mondays, 11:00 AM-12:30 PM

18 & Under (Boys & Girls Divisions) → Practice: 1:30-3:00 PM   | Matches: Mondays, 12:30-2:00 PM

 

**Age on August 4th determines a player's age group.

 

🏆 State Championships: August 1-3

 

👉 We ask families to commit to at least four weeks to ensure match equity.

Other Summer Tennis Programs

WIMPELTON / AGES 4 - 7

Wimpleton is for 4-7 year olds learning how to play tennis. The goal is to teach students to serve, hit groundstrokes, volley, keep score, be a good sport, and have fun. Low-bounce balls are used to promote hand-eye coordination through a variety of tennis activities. Kids will be divided based on age and ability. Children registered for his class do NOT participate in Monday matches.

Time: 8-8:45 and 9:45-10:30

Where: Courts 4 and 5

CRUSH / AGES 8 - 10

Skyline Crush is an hour-long tennis clinic for players who are looking to make it to the next level. The goal of this clinic is to teach tennis skills required to enjoy the game of tennis at any level.

 

Players will be grouped by ability level and court availability.

 

Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

 

Time: 8:45-9:45

 

Where: Courts 4, 5, and 6 at the tennis courts. Check-in with Andrew

Cost: $66

Drop in:$33

 

Ages: 8-10

CRUSH / AGES 11 - 12

Crush: ages 11-12
